These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Dot.Design and any connected Dot Ecosystem platform you sign in to through it. Dot.Design is operated by BluePin Inc ("BluePin", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Dot.Design, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You need an account to create and save design projects. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

2. Ecosystem single sign-on

Your Dot Ecosystem account is also your identity on Dot.Design. Signing in through a connected platform issues a short-lived, single-use token that confirms who you are, without you re-entering your password.

3. Your content and projects

You keep ownership of the projects, designs, text, and images you create on Dot.Design. You're responsible for having the right to use any content (images, fonts, brand assets) you upload or incorporate into a project. AI-generated imagery is provided as a starting point or tool — you're responsible for reviewing generated content before using it, including for any trademark, copyright, or brand-guideline concerns specific to your use case.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to Dot.Design, another user's projects, or any connected platform;
  • interfere with or disrupt Dot.Design's infrastructure or the ecosystem sign-on system; or
  • use Dot.Design for any unlawful purpose.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Dot.Design available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Dot.Design is provided "as is." AI-generated imagery and layout suggestions may not always be accurate, appropriate, or free of third-party rights concerns — you're responsible for reviewing anything you export and use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BluePin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Dot.Design.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to Dot.Design, the Dot Ecosystem, or other users.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
